Gen Alpha: 2012-2024/26 (TBD)

Gen Z: 1997-2012

— Began entering the workforce in 2015. Some notes.

Gen Y, aka Millennials: 1981-1996

— Began entering the workforce in 1998. Have grown up with internet since their teens with inexpensive telecommunications via cellphones then smartphones. Have had both a gaming and app-centric life since early adulthood. Also has experienced three major economic disruptions at key moments of generational workforce  development. Became largest segment of US workforce in 2016. Began moving into middle-management about 2018. Has now become the face of management and economic direction. Will assume  most senior roles by 2030.

Gen X: 1965-1980

Baby Boomers: 1946-1964
