Job Description: Visual Analytics Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA
Position Type: Full-Time
Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Responsibilities:
Carry out engineering tasks to deliver an advanced visual analytic application.
Develop data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software.
Facilitate the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing.
Utilize specified open source, COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf), and GOTS (Government Off-The-Shelf) technologies.
Establish an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of structured and semi-structured data.
Design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security.
Design and construct large relational databases.
Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering and developing visual analytic applications.
Top Secret security clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility.
Bachelor’s Degree
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of data analytics and visual analytic software development.
Proficiency in advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing.
Experience with open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies.
Ability to design and implement enterprise database systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with integrating new systems with existing warehouse structures.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
