Job Details
Location: Houston, TX 77046
Pay: $23.44 / Hour
Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
This is a HYBRID position.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in Financial services , with a strong preference for experience in Trade operations , Back-office support , or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Data analysis tools .
Good controls mind set and risk appetite.
Good communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of seniority.
Keen analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretation.
Logical approach to problem solving – taking ownership and offering practical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
Experience with commodities, derivatives, or foreign exchange products.
Knowledge of trade lifecycle management and settlement processes.
Experience with trade order management systems (TOMS) or other relevant financial systems.
Exposure to regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.
Job description
Perform daily trade validation and reconciliation, ensuring trades are accurately booked in the system.
Investigate and resolve trade breaks, working closely with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams to identify and address discrepancies.
Perform trade amendments to correct booking errors.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of trade control processes and procedures.
Support regulatory and management reporting requirements.
Identify and escalate potential risks and control issues.
Proactively seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across different departments.
Pay Details: $23.44 per hour
