Description/Duties:
The Test Engineer will support MDA GMD (Ground-based Midcourse Defense) in Huntsville, AL. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
Implement and execute integrated system-of-systems Test and Evaluation events.
Develop, review, revise Test Plans, Test Objectives, Quick Look Reports and other documents and presentations with input to developmental testing and operational testing.
Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and necessary artifacts (System Security Plan, System Categorization, Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) and classified database (e.g. eMASS).
Give consideration to Cyber Resiliency and Cyber Survivability IAW DOD Instructions 8500.01 and 8510.01.
Presentations of results and supporting data.
Acting on customer’s behalf in briefs and reviews involving integrated cybersecurity developmental and operational test efforts.
Providing weekly input to customer in reports and charts documenting task status, action item tracking, capturing risks and estimating schedule progress toward completion.
HIGHLY DESIRED Test engineer: Required familiarity with Research and Development and Engineering Processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Currently possess and ability to maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Must have a BS in an Engineering or STEM field, with 7+ years of experience; consideration may be given for a MS degree in lieu of years of experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Test and Evaluation experience within Missile Defense Agency or Ground-based Midcourse Defense
