The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a SIGINT SME at Fort Meade, MD. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.

Job Summary
The SIGINT SME will be expected to coordinate, develop, and promulgate Air Force and National Security Agency Technical SIGINT (TechSIGINT) policies and capabilities enabling AF SCC TechSIGINT operations.
Job Responsibilities
Assist ADO as the organizational link between NSA and the Air Force for TechSIGINT revitalization efforts and champion AF needs and improve mission capability.
Provide policy analysis and guidance for Air Force TechSIGINT and Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) policies, strategies, and standards.
Responsible to the Directorate of Operations for executing operations related to the support of SIGINT mission management, SIGINT policy and applicable national and tactical authorities. Develop plans and exercises, and the development and execution of strategic initiatives for the Air Force enterprise.
Will work with 16 AF and subordinate ISR Wings to maintain the health of operations and assigned SIGINT authorities, including a robust quality control and compliance program.
Make recommendations and defends decisions on operational policy matters to the Director and 16 AF staff.
Represent 16 AF across a variety of functional area organizations to establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with ACC directorates, USAF Special Program Offices, Headquarters of the Air Force, the Secretary of Defense, Services, combat support agencies, other combatant commands, the Intelligence Community, interagency, academia, and industry
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 10 + years of of prior relevant experience or Masters with 8+years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree .
Current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
Previous National Intelligence Community experience.
Attended and completed a DoD or National Intelligence Agency SIGINT School.
Understanding of Tactical Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) challenges.
Extensive experience in PED from ISR sensors and platforms.
Significant experience directlysupporting and collaborating withoperational, national and strategic Intelligence Communitymissions and partners.
Familiar with Joint Command, DoD structure, organizations, and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of TechSIGINT policy.
Previous experience with Air Operations Center (AOC) is highly sought.
Completion of advanced level SIGINT courses.
Familiarity with national and airborne collection programs.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 – $162,150.00
