ManTech seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Tactical Aviation Product Lead to join our team at Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, MD. This is a part-time, onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Creation of airworthiness product development tactical aircraft in support of PMA-265
Assimilate system data and develop content for the Naval Aviation Technical Information Publication (NATIP)
Adhere to and manage the Airworthiness Process to incorporate Flight Clearance content into NATIP
Setup, manage, and provide follow-up to planning meetings to incorporate new content into NATIP. Collaborate with and track actions of the multiple technical subject matter inputs to the updates
Manage and track flight clearance actions
Attend and support various workshops, meetings, and conferences related to F-18 and systems included in the NATIP
Coordinate with support editors and graphics artists on the production activities to submission for distribution
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
8+ years of experience in Naval Aviation with fixed wing aircraft
Must be a current or prior officer in the United States Navy or Marine Corps
Knowledge of tactics employment of weapons by fleet aircrew
Preferred Qualifications:
12 years experience as a Fixed Wing Navy or Marine Corps Aviator or Naval Flight Officer, Weapon System Officer
Weapons School TOPGUN or similar qualification
Clearance Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship and a Secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
