AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team! We are seeking a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Systems Engineer Level 5 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The candidate will apply systems engineering principles throughout the full system lifecycle, including concept development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
This role requires direct interaction with government stakeholders, program personnel, senior executives, and technical teams to ensure the integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables.
Mission: As a Systems Engineer on this government program, you will be providing support via your proficiency in risk management, decision management, and lifecycle model management.
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland
All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- A B.S. in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.
- Extensive experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Experience working with government and senior-level stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
- Proficiency in risk management, decision management, and lifecycle model management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Desired Requirements
- Certifications in systems engineering, project management, or HPC technologies.
- Knowledge of modern computing architectures, cloud technologies, and advanced data processing techniques.
Education and Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
- PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
- High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general system engineering experience.
Travel
- Less than 10% of travel may occur.
