This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves solving complex technology challenges, integrating electronic processes, and applying system engineering principles to design and secure mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in networking, security, and system architecture while contributing to strategic engineering solutions. Active DoD clearance required.

What You Will Do:
Perform complex technical project tasks related to systems integration and technology optimization.
Design and implement secure electronic processes to resolve total system challenges.
Apply systematic and analytical approaches to improve workflow, organization, and planning.
Direct and assist system engineers in secure systems design and implementation.
Develop strategies for network and security operations, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, network protocols, and vulnerability analysis.
Lead and advise on data encryption, key management, PKI, data warehousing, and data mining techniques.
Provide expert consultation on best practices for network security and system performance.
Rely on extensive experience and judgment to independently accomplish goals and drive technical solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of system design, security protocols, and network architecture.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex technology challenges.
Active DoD Secret level clearance.
