AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team! We are seeking a Systems Engineer Level 4 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a deep understanding of systems engineering principles, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and personnel components into a cohesive system.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, program managers, and technical experts, to manage system requirements and develop comprehensive systems engineering documentation.
Mission: As a Systems Engineer on this government program, you will be providing support for this important government agency.
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland
All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
Certifications:
- None
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 8 years of systems engineering experience.
- Strong background in DoDAF strategic planning and technical research.
- Experience managing system requirements and architecture development.
- Knowledge of configuration management, risk management, and systems integration.
- Ability to develop technical documentation and requirements specifications.
- Familiarity with Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and systems engineering lifecycle processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a tech-savvy mindset.
Desired Requirements
- Experience with DoD programs, acquisition lifecycle, and technical frameworks.
- Proficiency in systems modeling tools and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Certifications in systems engineering, project management, or related fields.
Education and Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus Ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
- Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus Eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
- PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 8 years of systems engineering experience.
OR
- High School Diploma or GED plus Fourteen (14) years of systems engineering experience.
Travel
- Less than 10% of travel may occur.
