Raytheon Digital Technology is seeking a dedicated professional to join our Support Services team within the Digital Operations directorate. This team supports an array of Engineering Tools (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, and Software) in both Unclassified and Classified Environments. This role is pivotal in delivering service excellence and ensuring optimal tool usage and support.
Location: Onsite in Goleta, CA
What You Will Do
Consultation and Engagement:
Collaborate with engineers to implement and adopt engineering software solutions and emerging technologies.
Assist programs in utilizing engineering tools effectively.
Tool Management:
Oversee installations and upgrades of engineering tools.
Deploy engineering applications, including software installations, configurations, integrations, and user acceptance.
User Support:
Provide general support for engineering tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve tool-related problems.
Tailor tools to meet specific program needs.
Customer Interaction:
Set and manage customer expectations to ensure priorities are met.
Function as part of the virtual Support Service & Maintenance support team.
Support multiple customers while adhering to specific schedule and cost constraints.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field
Experience troubleshooting engineering tool problems in Windows, Unix, and/or Linux environments.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience supporting engineering tools (e.g., DevOPS Tools, Matlab, DOORs, Cameo, Creo, Vivado, Ansys, LabView).
Implementation experience with AGILE software principles and/or SAFE.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 72,000 USD – 144,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
