Structural Analysis Engineer – Aerospace Industry | Huntsville, AL
Pay: $72.17 – $82.20/hr | Full-Time | 1-Year Contract (Possible Extension) | Onsite
PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join a cutting-edge aerospace team in Huntsville, AL . In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring structural integrity, optimizing design, and supporting testing and certification processes for aerospace structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements for aerospace systems
Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods and FEM simulations
Coordinate with other engineering teams to define the product environment and performance characteristics
Develop and execute test plans , analyze test results, and support certification processes
Investigate failures and recommend improvements for in-service products
Work under general direction in a fast-paced aerospace environment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
Expertise in classical hand analysis, primary structure analysis, and finite element modeling (FEM)
Aircraft structural analysis experience with integrated design and layout development
Ability to work onsite, full-time (Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM)
Preferred Qualifications:
Aerospace experience (both structures and tools)
Experience with primary aircraft structures (737, 747, 757, 777)
Background in commercial and/or military aerospace applications
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $72.17 to $82.20 per hour
