HII Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Somlai Language Analyst to perform tasks required to process language materials/data at the customer site at Fort Meade, Maryland.
HII – Mission Technologies provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, National Security, Aerospace & Defense, International government, and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
What you will do
The candidate shall demonstrate the following cryptologic language processing skills:
Scanning, sorting/categorizing foreign language written and verbal materials to recover essential elements of information
Completing lists, translations, and transcriptions of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken materials from required language to English, and English to the required language
Performing quality control on language processing activities
Compiling and updating operational work aids and databases
Drafting intelligence reports
What we are looking for
9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and text translation from Somali into idiomatic, standard American English; skill level shall be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
Bonus points for…
Experience in Cryptologic Operations performing language processing in the required language(s)
Translating and/or transcribing, and gisting experience
