We are seeking a **Sr.
Registration Analyst **
to support international trade compliance activities, including registration of exporters, manufacturers, and brokers under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The position requires experience working independently in a fast-paced, regulatory environment with minimal oversight.
*RESPONSIBILITIES: * {#responsibilities dir=”ltr”}
Facilitate registration of exporters, manufacturers, and brokers under ITAR Parts 122 and 129.
Review registration materials submitted by entities, ensuring compliance with ITAR Section 122.2, including disclosures of criminal violations, indictments (Section 120.27), and foreign ownership/control notifications (Section 122.4).
Support reviews of mergers, acquisitions, and changes in registration status.
Resolve routine registration issues; escalate complex or unique cases to the supervisor.
Perform research, analysis, and documentation preparation independently; may draft responses and legal documentation for federal law enforcement entities (e.g., DHS/ICE, FBI, U.S. Attorneys).
Review and prepare advisory opinion responses regarding ITAR application for supervisor approval.
Support outreach activities, including participation in the Company Visit Program and other site visits.
Perform additional administrative and escort duties as required.
May be required to travel domestically or internationally (CONUS/OCONUS).
*ELIGIBILITY and QUALIFICATIONS: *
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with the U.S. Department of State strongly preferred.
Background in law or a field related to international trade and compliance is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform advanced-level tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical, research, and technical writing skills.
Familiarity with the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and the ITAR.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
Ability to operate standard office equipment including phones, copiers, scanners, and printers.
Must have an active Secret clearance.
