Job Description
HII -Mission Technologies is looking for a Senior Process Improvement Analyst to support the Aerospace Systems Directorate (AFRL/RQ) with their digital transformation efforts to modernize their business information technology and business processes.
This position has the overall responsibility for guiding the AFRL/RQ through the cultural, procedural, and technological shifts required to successfully implement digital initiatives.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Strategy Development: Design and execute a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with digital materiel management objectives, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and organizational readiness
Stakeholder Engagement: identify key stakeholders, communicate the value of digital materiel management and address concerns to gain support across all levels of AFRL/RQ
Organizational Readiness Assessment: Evaluate the current state of digital to determine readiness for digital change and address gaps
Communications and Training: Work with the Communications Lead/Customer Engagement Lead to develop clear communications plans and training programs to ensure employees understand new digital tools, workflows and the broader impact of digital materiel management
Change Impact Analysis: Assess how digital materiel management initiatives will affect workflows, roles and responsibilities and implement strategies to mitigate disruption
Adoption and Behavioral Change: Drive user adoption of new technologies and processes by addressing resistance, promoting digital literacy and fostering a culture of innovation
Performance Metrics and Feedback Loops: Define success metrics for digital materiel management efforts, monitor adoption rates and use feedback loops to refine change management approaches
Minimum Qualifications
15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field.
Individual should have a master’s degree or higher with a strong background using change management and customer engagement methodologies and tools.
Experience in the IT domain would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary since individual will be responsible for interacting with customers and organizational stakeholders. They will be responsible for communicating change plans to those involved so that process leaders understand actions, expectations, and how they will be measured.
Communication and analytics skills are very important and will be needed in interviewing and collecting data, along with analyzing the data to inform and support organizational change.
