As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing Pinterest datasets and developing visualization dashboards to extract insights at scale. You will lead advanced data analysis and visualization efforts to uncover trends that inform key strategic initiatives. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will create insightful reports and dashboards, effectively communicating findings to guide business strategies. With a global remit, you will empower markets and partners by providing valuable insights, especially where dedicated resources are unavailable.
What you’ll do:
Data Strategy: Master the Pinterest dataset and collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional partners to explore future analytical opportunities that uncover advertiser value through data analysis
Data Visualization : Design and create visual representations from data sources to enhance understanding and analysis. Develop dashboards, reports, and templates; lead the execution of complex dashboards; and translate patterns and trends into actionable recommendations
Workflow Design : Develop a clear data system to extract advertiser-relevant insights from the Pinterest dataset, establishing effective processes and solutions
Collaboration and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to team members, colleagues, and clients to ensure clarity and optimal use of developed dashboards
Execution Excellence: Independently drive the execution of specialized and complex insights deliverables and dashboard development
What we’re looking for:
+5 years of experience working with large data sets and developing data visualization solutions, particularly for sales organizations application
Proven expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker, with familiarity in advanced custom visualization platforms like Streamlit or Plotly Dash
Proficient in Python and highly skilled in SQL, including experience with extracting large datasets, designing ETL workflows using tools like Apache Airflow, and optimizing complex queries with Spark. Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
Strong business and product acumen, with the ability to transform vague questions into well-defined analyses and success metrics that inform business decisions.
Excellent communication skills, capable of leading initiatives across multiple product areas and articulating findings to leadership and Insights teams.
Experience in leading key technical projects and significantly influencing the scope and outputs of others, with strong project management skills
