Lockheed Martin’s SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking a Software Engineer to join the SOF GLSS team in Fayetteville, NC. The candidate will perform classified duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Plans, conducts, and coordinates MS SQL development activities. Designs, develops, documents, database architecture for new and existing software applications.
Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be designed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used.
Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition.

This position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command’s (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. This position is located in Fayetteville, NC Discover Fayetteville
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to acquire and maintain a Top Secret Government clearance
Relevant Experience:
Experienced in MSSQL, AWS, Linux and/or Windows Administration
Desired Skills:
Use of SQL, Python, Views Stored Procedures, and ETLs.
Use of GitLab/GitHub for configuration management to drive system and application deployments
Collaborate with team and others to share operational best practices
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
