About the Role:
As an Sewer, you’ll be responsible for assembling and testing key components, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the production line. You’ll work hands-on with equipment, fine-tuning and testing products to meet the highest standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where your skills and contributions make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and Interpret Work Orders: Understand production work orders and related instructions to ensure precision in each task.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing needles and cleaning sewing machines to keep everything running efficiently.
Material Selection: Select supplies such as fasteners, thread, and other materials in accordance with job specifications.
Quality Assurance: Examine finished products to verify they meet quality standards, ensuring only the best products leave the production line.
Inspection of Materials: Inspect production materials like fabrics, zippers, etc., for quality and readiness.
Machine Operation: Operate various machines, including single-needle sewing machines, multi-needle sergers, and binding machines to complete assigned tasks.
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as needed to maintain smooth production operations.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Attention to Detail: Strong hand-eye coordination, concentration, and an exceptional eye for detail.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs.
Machine Experience: Experience with sewing machines and industrial equipment is a plus but not required.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
