ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer, Senior to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide technical leadership to a team tasked with identifying, formulating, designing, and testing solutions to known system issues/problems
Responsible for guiding the development of new and complex systems, employing system engineering methodologies and tools throughout the development phase
Provide expertise to research, analyze, and develop tools and methods to integrate with modeling environments
Conduct research in applied systems engineering as necessary in support of advancing the field
This position may require travel within the United States (less than 10%)
Minimum Qualifications:
Master of Arts or Master of Science degree in a Technical or Scientific area is required, OR a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in a Technical or Scientific area, PLUS an additional 4 years of recent and relevant experience, for a total of fourteen 14 years of recent and relevant experience, may be substituted for a MA or MS degree
10+ years in tandem of recent and relevant experience in an area of engineering; 3 of those years MUST be directly related to DoD systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Engineering experience with Navy aviation systems
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Top Secret clearance is required to perform work on this contract
Physical Requirements:
Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS, ZOOM).
