In this role, you will join a small, highly-focus team working to develop and maintain frontend applications for use in a real-time operational environment. The team members are multi-disciplined and contribute across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration and test, and metrics. The team works closely with operations personnel to meet unique and continuously development needs. Due to the security clearance requirement, this role is an onsite position located on our Aurora, CO campus.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain user interface software.
Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
What You Will Learn
Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
Software lifecycle practices for defense projects.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
Experience with JavaScript, Angular, and Node.js.
Experience working in a Cloud environment.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience programming with C++, Python, and Go.
Experience with SIGINT or signal processing software.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD – 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
