Key Responsibilities:

Maintain security clearance and cybersecurity workforce eligibility.

Perform set-up, configuration and maintenance of network, cryptographic, and peripheral equipment.

Create, modify, apply, and troubleshoot access control lists on Cisco ASA, Cisco IOS, and IOS-XE.

Operate and maintain Palo Alto next-generation firewalls.

Utilize Cisco Identity Services Engine to enforce policy decisions IAW client strategies.

Perform tasks while adhering to COMSEC and HAIPE (KG-250X/KG-175) tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP).

Support troubleshooting of physical and virtual infrastructure connections in a software defined network environment at both local and remote sites.

Up to 10% travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations (Occasional 2-3 week trips)

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Network or Computer Engineering; Computer Science; Computer Systems, Information Security; Information Systems Management; Information Technology or a related field with 6-8 years related experience or a Master of Science degree with 4-6 years of experience

Minimum of six (6) years of experience with installation, maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of secure enterprise networks

Minimum of four (4) years’ experience enforcing complex network security measures such as access control lists, next-generation firewalls, and routing controls.

Must have at a minimum DoD 8140 basic combination of experience and certification (Security+, etc.) and have or the ability to obtain an OS/CE (i.e., Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Palo Alto) certification prior to start.
