The Senior Manager, Aftermarket Distribution Center collaborates to develop strategies and objectives to maximize productivity and leverage expenses. The Senior Manager analyzes trends, solves problems, motivates and develops change management strategies and tactics for the associates in order to maximize contribution to the DC success – typically managing through several supervisors to achieve results. The Senior Manager coaches employees so their work is aligned with the business direction, with employee efforts focused on value adding activities delivering positive benefits.

This is an onsite role in Windsor Locks, CT and may expect up to 20% travel. This role is eligible for relocation.

What You Will Do

Direct oversight of the Windsor Locks Aftermarket distribution center and reporting responsibilities for the Rockford and Phoenix distribution centers.

Manage Distribution Center activities to make a positive contribution to business results, leading and managing Salary and Union team members.

Monitor and direct activities to ensure on-time shipping, receiving and re-packaging to satisfy customer requirements.

Ensure the timely communication and reporting to all other departments on order status and distribution center activities.

Ensure compliance to all company safety, EH&S and policy procedures.

Monitor KPIs and make adjustments as necessary to meet or exceed metrics.

Ensure the maintenance of facilities and equipment at the distribution center are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.

Develop and monitor budgets to ensure compliance with corporate plans.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer

Demonstrated experience managing team members in a Union environment

Continuous Improvement experience which benefits overall operations, including – Safety, Quality, Effectiveness, Employee Relations, etc.

Demonstrated experience with logistics, shipping, inventory management and monitoring KPIs

Proven experience managing and developing teams, with a focus on coaching, mentoring and fostering growth.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD – 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
