Summary You will serve as a GG-12 Personnel Security Specialist providing Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) personnel security report. You will be responsible for counterintelligence interviews, indoctrinations, and education briefings. This position is located within the Security Directorate of US FLEET CYBER COMMAND in Kunia, Honolulu, Hawaii. Responsibilities You will serve as a source of authoritative information for the Fleet Cyber Command (FCC), Security Directorate and Special Security Officer Representative for FCC and Navy Information Operation Command (NIOC) Hawaii assets. You will be responsible for the joint services for processing cases being considered for cryptologic risk assessments, counterintelligence interviews, and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) courier certification. You will advise on procedures for adverse security actions, including security clearance denials, suspensions, and revocations. You will review personnel security documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines prior to release. You will ensure that office security operations are in compliance with all federal statutes, Executive Orders, and pertinent regulations and procedures in the areas of personnel security and suitability. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Use knowledge of an organization’s security requirements to enforce personnel security metrics and management and identify any vulnerabilities within the program; Schedule and conduct personnel security interviews and polygraph examinations with job applicants, employees, and contractor personnel to acquire details related to information associated with security clearance eligibility criteria; Review and adjudicate completed personnel security investigations to determine whether to grant, deny, or revoke security clearance eligibility and access.
