Our Customer Support Team is seeking a hybrid/remote
Sales Engineer. You would be responsible to
provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products. Assist the Business Development team in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions. May build a mini application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid product demo for client. May provide product capability assessment and validation. Ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications. May provide follow-up support to company sales account managers and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications. Works with the customer from prior to the sale, through delivery and installation. In depth understanding of Army tactical network infrastructure. Ability to seamlessly integrate TW products with other customer systems and maximize network performance. Capable of analyzing, troubleshooting, and fixing network performance issues through monitoring and troubleshooting systems.

The
essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude:
Provides pre-sales, post-sales, and customer support for all TrellisWare product offerings both onsite and remotely.
Provides customers with custom tailored communications solutions for their specific systems.
Supports sales and business development leads in securing of new business; field troubleshooting of products and integrations; and trade show booth duty support.
Evaluate customer requirements and determine technical configurations and generate product quotations in coordination with sales management.
Craft and deliver technical presentations of TrellisWare offerings to new and existing customers.
Supports field demonstrations, product training, integration with 3rd party accessories (antennas, headsets, power sources, cameras, microphones, etc.), applications (voice, IP data, video, etc.) and product documentation. A strong emphasis on IP networking is a must.
Drafts demonstration and application sample white papers as needed as well as assesses new accessories or applications capable of extending the effectiveness of company products.
Performs technical and integration support of sales pursuits, trade shows, customer demonstrations and field exercises, and documents both interesting field accomplishments as well as any observed anomalies.
Supports related product documentation throughout the product line.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Develops relationships with team members built on trust and respect.
Education and work experience
requirements are:
Four-year technical degree or military related service experience equivalent
At least 5+ years related experience in the market or technology segments identified.
Demonstrates track record in fielding and troubleshooting RF systems and networked communications products.
Knowledge of configuration, operation, and maintenance of tactical communication systems or TrellisWare products.
Experience in US Special Forces, US Military, and/or commercial specialty communications communities are highly desired.
To be considered for this position, you would need to meet, at a minimum, the
knowledge, skills, and abilitieslisted here:
Ability to travel 50-75%.
Strong understanding of IP data including addressing schemes, IP switches/router interface, gateway functionality, TCP/UDP protocols and the best methods for transfer over data pipe.
Understands the military communications markets and their deployment practices including USSOCOM, Army, Navy and Air Force as well other government agencies and the tactical communications products they use.
Demonstrates strong documentation skills and proficient with PC office applications.
