General responsibilities

As a Product Manager for the Health Data Platform at HDI, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how healthcare leverages data to drive meaningful insights and better outcomes for patients. You will own the vision, strategy, and execution of cross-cutting platform products that unify data and document management services, enabling intelligence and innovation across the healthcare industry. Your work will directly impact patients in diverse settings by making healthcare data actionable and accessible.

Your mission:

Customer-Centric Innovation: Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and translate these into a product roadmap that delivers exceptional value.

Industry Leadership: Stay ahead of trends and advancements in healthcare data management to ensure HDI remains the go-to platform for impactful solutions.

Strategic Collaboration: Partner with internal product leaders to capture medical coding requirements and align them with the overall strategy, ensuring a cohesive and unified platform.

Agile Execution: Lead product development in an Agile environment, writing epics, prioritizing features, and managing the backlog to deliver impactful releases.

Delivery Excellence: Work closely with Program Management to oversee product release cycles, from definition through delivery.

Platform Scale: Identify patterns in the problems serviced across the HDI stack and develop products that scale value delivery across the portfolio

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education:

BS or MS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Coursework in Engineering or a background in technical roles within an application software environment is a plus

Experience:

Proven 10+ years product management experience, preferably in cloud solutions, for enterprise level software applications

Strong technical background through hands-on experience with software development lifecycle

Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

Highly self-motivated to work on tasks independently, while working in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across various lines of business

Excellent organization and project management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in Life Sciences industry specifically with data capture and data management software solutions is desirable

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget. As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design, and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created, and communicate with engineering to ensure consistency, testability, and portability across products in general. Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS/MS in Computer Science or MIS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 10 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
