DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises is looking to fill a Senior Operations Analyst position at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
Advise on the effect of intelligence surveillance reconnaissance (ISR) systems on aerostats.
Advise on operational procedures and reporting tools.
Analyze operational data to identify and assist in resolving operations-related and mission-critical issues affecting Warfighter support, and assist leadership with refinement of aerostat operational procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Must be able to brief / instruct in a large or small group setting.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be detail oriented and organized.
Must be able to work on many different projects at one time.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
Operational knowledge of SharePoint is desired.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
10 or more years in experience in managing a military or civilian operations setting.
BA/BS or higher.
An additional 8 years experience in a related field may be substituted for education.
Masters degree or higher may be substituted for 4 years of experience, as long as the degree is in a related field.
Expertise with flight requirements for aerostats (20M or larger), including knowledge of flight certifications and flight parameters (Desired).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts to 20 lbs.
Employees must be able to see and hear, read, and write effectively in English. Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, good judgment, reading, memorizing, social skills, speaking, stress control and writing. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information; Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication. Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Deploy CONUS/OCONUS. Travel by surface and air to austere locations with widely ranging climatic conditions.
