Mobile Application Site Reliability Engineer

You’ll work with a team of Developers and DevOps engineers to help the customer overcome their most difficult challenges in deploying an mPOS application. Your support and technical skills will be vital as you work across multiple IT organizations to ensure standards are met throughout the Cloud migration process. This is an opportunity to use the latest Cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your customer’s environment using current Cloud capabilities. You’ll be able to sharpen your skills in mobile application, automation, DevSecOps, CI / CD, and containerization. You Have:
4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering
Experience supporting mobile applications, including iOS and Android, in production environments, to include using Jira and Everbridge solutions for issue tracking and notification
Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
Experience in scripting and automation such as Python, Bash, or Terraform
Experience with CI / CD pipelines and version control such as Jenkins or Git
Experience working with a Development or DevOps team to create operational or deployment pipelines in GitLab, to include mPOS application deployment, managing certificates, and maintaining operational pipelines for the application
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technological field
Nice If You Have:
Experience with mPOS architecture, EMV compliance, and payment gateway integrations
Experience supporting payment systems in federal or DoD environments, including mPOS and PCI DSS compliance
Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions aligned with federal Authority to Operate ( ATO ) processes such as Splunk, CloudWatch, or ELK
Experience with incident management and disa ster recovery in mission-critical or high-availability systems
Knowledge of mobile performance metrics and optimization techniques
Ability to pay strict attention to detail and manage and synthesize data calls
Ability to work independently and resp ond to short-turn tasking in a fast-paced work environment
Possession of strong analytical skills
Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
