HII Mission Technologies is seeking a talented and experienced Engineer Designer 2 to join its team. The Engineer Designer 2 will be responsible for creating and developing designs for various projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure that designs meet project requirements and deadlines.
What You Will Do
Performs engineering functions in one or more of the following specialties: electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil, naval, and/or chemical.
Design and develop complex systems and components for various projects
Conduct testing and analysis of systems and components to ensure performance and reliability
Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met
Participate in design reviews and technical meetings to provide input and feedback
Prepare technical documentation and reports to support project milestones
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
What You Must Have
2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 0 years experience with Masters in related field.
Candidate must have DOD/Navy Engineering experience
Candidate must have strong technical skills in areas such as mechanical, electrical, or software engineering
Candidate must have experience with CAD software and other engineering software applications
Candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Candidate must have strong communication and collaboration skills
Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
US Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance

In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) experience
Crane/Davit experience
Physical Requirements
Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
