We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Mid-Level Civil Engineering Project Manager position in our Cleveland office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and possess the professional and interpersonal skills to make a positive impact on our firm and the clients we serve. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently.
Pay: $85,000 133,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

MID-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Design and manage all aspects of municipal and private engineering projects including:

Proposal preparation

Develop a proposed project fee

Reports and studies

Design and construction documents

Manage subconsultants

Scheduling, coordination, and budgeting

Provide design and permitting of municipal and private engineering projects including but not limited to sanitary sewers, sanitary lift stations, storm sewers, stormwater design, site plans and minor roadway projects.

Balance performing design work and business development efforts.

Project/task and client management.

Ability to develop new client relationships and maintain existing client relationships.

Ability to work in a team setting collaboratively with a group of transportation, water resource and site/civil engineers.

Ability to identify project issues and facilitate resolution.

Able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and conditions.

Ability to develop junior staff.

Coordinate with subconsultants.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Provide professional sealed plan sets for clients.

MID-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
Education:

Bachelor s degree in civil engineering required.

EIT required; PE license preferred.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of related experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required

Project or task management experience preferred
