Ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance*

Excellent publication record in the field of required expertise

Demonstrated fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience in common electrochemical measurement techniques such as voltammetry, potential step techniques (chronoamperometry, chronocoulometry), chronopotentiometry, and related methods

Good understanding of the electrochemical kinetics and the role of transport phenomena on rate measurements, as well as understanding how chemical reactions and interfacial phenomena (adsorption, double layer) are coupled in electrochemical processes

Demonstrated record of working safely in chemical laboratories

Expert command of spoken and written English[JD1]

Good communication skills

Ability to work effectively as a part of a team in a multi-disciplinary environment

Strong motivation and ability to work independently

Ability to plan and organize assignments and meet project deadlines
