You will be a Manufacturing Support Team Member for our team supporting U.S. Army Special Operations. Our team is responsible for providing critical logistics support to ensure the readiness and effectiveness of our nation’s elite forces.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Support Team Member
Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position is in Crestview, FL.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a strong background in ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft operations.
* 10+ years of experience specifically in C-130 maintenance, demonstrating expertise in the maintenance and repair of this aircraft type.
* Previous experience as a USAF/USMC/USN 7-level or equivalent, with a proven track record of leading and managing maintenance teams.
* Prior experience as a production supervisor, with expertise in managing workflow, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
* Experience with letter checks, demonstrating attention to detail and ability to ensure quality control.
* Proven ability to write and submit Technical Assistance Requests, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to coordinate and deconflict between two distinctive work processes, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, with a commitment to maintaining the highest level of security and confidentiality.
Desired Skills:
Experienced with operations typical of a heavy aviation modification environment
– Experienced with requirements and compliance with Government and Military aviation maintenance standard .e.g. AS9100 – 8210 – Technical orders and directives, engineering drawings
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
– Must have the ability to work non-standard shifts in support of military special operations objectives
– Ability to motivate teams to achieve goals while also positively impacting employee morale
– Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
