You will be the Manufacturing Associate Manager for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Grand Prairie. Our team is responsible for Electrical manufacturing consisting of PDRR and MSE / MRO / CFS.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Associate Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering Manager to monitor the design sequence of operations and specific procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect production.

Coordinating with Quality Manager to incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.

Overseeing the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools through preventative maintenance.

Driving corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Previous leadership experience

Appropriate acumen to successfully interact with Program Senior Management, Sr. Management, HR, and Union Leadership.

Demonstrated skills in team building and leading.

Ability to obtain US Government-issued Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills:

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience

Proficient in SAP, MRO

Greenbelt Certification

Knowledge of CBA and interaction with Union Leadership

-Experience in:

First line supervision

Collective Bargaining Agreement

Programmatic/Operations cost and estimating

Driving continuous improvement/cost reduction activities

Support MFC Operations execution processes – PMT, ELC, CAB, and Production Risk Assessments

Input to Capital and infrastructure plans

Clear understanding of the production processes employed by Lockheed Martin.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
