Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Machine Operator position in Archdale, NC . This is a temp-to-hire opportunity on 1st shift .
This position requires candidates to have fabrication and mechanical experience , strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with various machines and hand tools in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities for a Machine Operator include but are not limited to:
Operate a Waterjet machine and assist with other fabrication equipment (saws, sanders, presses)
Modify/create simple 2D drawings in Waterjet software
Use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools as needed
Interpret drawings and follow written work instructions
Use measuring instruments to ensure quality
Conduct self-audits and quality checks at defined intervals
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Perform additional production tasks as needed
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
High school diploma or GED
Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery (Waterjet, Bridgeport, saws, brake press)
Ability to read blueprints/drawings
Basic math and geometry skills
Teamwork and independence
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to work overtime
Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods
English reading comprehension required
What’s in this for you?
Pay : $ 18.00/hour
Schedule : 1st Shift (Mon-Thu, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM) + possible OT on Fridays
Weekly paycheck
Location : Archdale, NC
PPE Required : Steel-toe shoes and safety glasses for the interview and job site

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
