Schedule : 2nd Shift- 10/hr shifts Monday – Thursday from 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM.
Pay Range : $20.00 – $25.00 pending experience
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Laser Operator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4yrs Laser experience and will be responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting machines to meet production specifications. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality production while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Laser Cutting Operations: Will be running Trumpf and Bystronics Lasers. Set up and operate laser cutting machines to meet production specifications. Ensure the laser beam focal point is properly adjusted for optimal cutting performance.
Set-Up & Calibration: Establish proper stop locations and make necessary adjustments for accurate cutting operations.
Quality Control: Inspect materials and detect any defects or questionable conditions. Report any issues promptly to the department supervisor to maintain production quality.
Physical Demands: This is a physically active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing throughout the day.
Lifting & Handling: Frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds as part of your daily tasks.
Vision Requirements: Must meet specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 4 yrs Laser experience. Experience with metals is a plus.
Technical Skills: Ability to make proper set-ups for laser cutting operations and adjust laser focal points. Basic computer literacy is required for operating machinery and recording data.
Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cutting operations and quality of materials.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
