About Native Hawaiian Veterans, LLC:

Native Hawaiian Veterans, LLC (NHV) is a tribally-owned business; an Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (UDBE); and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) that provides services, solutions, and products in the areas of Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Information Technology, Communication Equipment, Professional Staff Augmentation, Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) Remediation, and Strategic Communications/Creative Services **.

Primary Focus:**

Knowledge Manager will lead the development and execution of knowledge management processes for the enterprise and coordinate and monitor knowledge management processes, ensuring processes align with government processes. This role supporting U.S. Army Pacific Command provides opportunities to develop and incorporate new efficiencies, procedures, and metrics to capture, track, and report program performance. This role requires maintaining data, information, and reporting components for program functional areas as well as updates to a Lessons Learned Database. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

Conduct (3+ years of experience) support for knowledge management operations and maintenance for secure DoD information management systems

Perform tasks using the Windows Operating System and Active Directory

Responsible to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, and travel quarterly into the Indo-Pacific region as necessary

Perform installation, configuration, and operate workstations, telephony, video, and mobile hardware and software, including more established communications, such as sat phone, as required

Ability to resolve escalated teams and member issues quickly, efficiently, and within policy guidelines

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

3+ years of experience with supporting knowledge management operations and maintenance for secure DoD information management systems

Obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of start date

Secret Clearance

Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:

Must possess problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written

Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.

Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.

Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.

Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.

Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Azure

Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Docker

Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence

Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies

Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering concepts

Ability to be flexible, exercise initiative, innovate, and take poorly defined problems and convert them into questions for which practical solutions can be defined

Ability to succeed in an ambiguous and fast-paced international environment with culturally diverse groups

Ability to prepare and modify documents, including correspondence, drafts, and emails

Ability to maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems

Reports to: Program Manager

Working Conditions:

Professional office environment.

Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.

Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.

Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.

Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.

May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.

May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.

May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.

Pay Range

USD $73,000.00 – USD $83,000.00 /Yr.
