Primary Purpose:
To develop, maintain, test and debug software to meet generally defined requirements in platforms; to formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and factfinding for the purpose of developing or modifying moderately complex information systems; to prepare detailed specification from which programs will be written; and to design, code, test, debug, document and maintain programs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SAP Business Objects Universes
Optimize Universes for performance and usability
Develop and maintain documentation for Universe design and data sources
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Universe design and data integrity
Support report developers and end users in leveraging Universes effectively

Requirements:
This position is Contract to Hire and Open to Irving, TX and Remote
Qualifications
Proven experience with SAP Business Objects Universe Design Tool and Information Design Tool (4 Years Minimum)
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA)
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
Experience with Business Objects reporting tools (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, etc.)
Education and Licensing Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. Information Systems or Computer Science major preferred.
