Maximus is seeking an Intermediate AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator focused on managing AWS workloads, overseeing system deployment, security, and compliance. This administrator will use AWS tools to ensure systems run efficiently, troubleshooting as needed. Their expertise is vital for maintaining DoD system integrity and performance on the cloud.
This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities:
Deploy and manage AWS workloads, focusing on security and compliance.
Utilize the AWS Console and CLI to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot systems.
Support development teams with system administration on AWS and Kubernetes.
Adhere to best practices using AWS Well-Architected Framework standards.
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Bachelors degree in a related field (masters degree may substitute for 2 years of experience).
5+ years of experience in systems administration on both Linux and Windows platforms.
Demonstrated experience and/or training in system administration in relation to workloads on AWS systems, Amazon EKS and in supporting development and testing teams.
Kubernetes CKA certification and/or training and 1 year of applied experience on containerized platforms.
IAT Level II
2 of the following trainings or certs below. 2 years of experience may be substituted, as applicable, to each cert.
AWS Cloud Practitioner (Foundational)
AWS SysOps Administrator (Associate)
Operating a Production Kubernetes Cluster
Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA)
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
RH294: RHEL Linux Automation with Ansible
Minimum Requirements
TCS219, T3, Band 6
Desired:

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate’s education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant’s salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
