We are seeking an emerging, or experienced, Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer that will be responsible for developing and analyzing GNC algorithms using various simulations.
What You Will Be Doing
The GNC Engineer must have experience designing closed-loop control systems.
The GNC Engineer will develop and test 6-DOF simulation models and algorithms.
The GNC Engineer will contribute to the development and performance assessment of the Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS).
The GNC Engineer must have C/C++ and MATLAB programming experience.
This role will require onsite support full-time at Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX working a 4/10 Flex schedule.
**This position requires a current DoD Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform some combination of the following Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) assignments:
?Perform Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis
?Develop and analyze guidance and/or autopilot algorithms.
?Contribute to the definition of an operational flight program (OFP) with integrated high fidelity 6DOF simulations.
?Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses.
?Demonstrate strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate transformation.
?Secret Clearance with Investigation or CV within 5 years.
Desired Skills:
?Strong M&S background
?Experience with ARISE is a plus but not required

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
