Job Description:

Client is looking for Senior UX Designer who will be responsible for designing core search functionality and experiences within mobile across Android and iOS.

Responsibilities:

Play a key role in shaping the future of client by reimagining how users search for and discover places

Create intuitive and delightful search experiences that help users discover new places and navigate the world around them with ease.

Analyse user research data, A/B testing results, and user feedback to inform design decisions created in partnership with product management.

Use existing patterns and components, as well as developing new ones where necessary.

Partner with engineering to arrive at solutions within known technical constraints.

Deliver UX prototypes for UX research and testing

Deliver design specifications to engineering to support product ionization of new features

Create aesthetically excellent work aligned with the brand

Experience:

7+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 2+ years designing for mobile consumer applications.

A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and experience creating user-centered designs for mobile applications.

Expertise in using Figma

Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.

Familiarity with accessibility guidelines

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Interest in or experience with mapping or geospatial-related applications is a plus.

Skills:

Mapping or Geospatial-related application

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
