Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Geospatial Technology Officer (GTO) to lead the charge in developing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge geospatial technologies. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with a dynamic Geospatial & Digital Solutions (GDS) Market Sector team to seamlessly integrate geospatial data and technologies, empowering the science and engineering community with the right data, at the right time, in the right place, to make wiser decisions.
Reporting directly to the Vice President & Market Sector Lead for GDS, you will drive both business strategy and technical solutions, propelling market growth and achieving long-term goals. This customer-facing position offers a unique opportunity to provide strategic direction, engage with the latest technologies, and work within a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in a related field (computer engineering, geography, geospatial sciences, computer science, etc)
15+ years of experience designing and delivering geospatial solutions in diverse markets, assisting customers and organizations in achieving objectives
Experience growing successful SaaS startups
Secret security clearance – Familiarity with department of Navy technical approaches related to next-gen cloud, network, and cybersecurity technology
Ability to acquire & maintain domain accreditations in at least two of the following platforms: AWS, Azure, Google
ITIL & PMP certifications null
