Job Description:
GDIT is seeking an General Maintenance Worker to help support the SACSS program in Chula Vista , California.
This is an onsite position, and no relocation assistance is provided.

Job Description:
Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies, constructs and tests various types of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and related devices on board Naval Vessels
Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve moderately complex problems.
Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment.
Modifies circuitry to improve performance.
Makes recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems.
May provide operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel.
Performs preventative maintenance.
Participates in special projects, as required.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.75 – $40.25. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
