You will be the Facilities Engineering Manager for the team. Our team is responsible for managing facilities engineering projects.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Facilities Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the planning, design, and oversight of facilities engineering projects, including the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training
Coordinating performance assessments, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions
Gathering and reviewing data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility
Directing the preparation of bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition
Overseeing the review and estimation of design costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -?This position is located at a facility that requires?special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret?clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in facility engineering 5 years or equivalent exp.
A bachelor’s degree
Experience in managing teams and projects
Experience in overseeing staff and contractors
Understanding of building systems
Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (construction, facilities, etc)
A master’s degree in facilities management, engineering management, or business administration (MBA).
Industry certifications like the Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
