Description: This position is in support of the F-35 Mods & Upgrades Program Management Office, which is one of the fastest growing areas within the F-35 Program.
The position is on the F-35 Mods & Upgrades On-Ramp team, responsible for leading planning and pursuit of Engineering Change Proposal requirements through to contract award. The candidate will be able to take on the responsibility of leading up Change Requests, Engineering Change Proposals, or special projects.
Areas of focus can include: Coordinates the preparation of proposals, proposal work statements and specifications, Supplier SOWs, and financial terms/conditions of contract. Participates in customer contact for program activities, program review sessions. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications, and Control Account Management. Candidate will coordinate with various functions on the team to develop integrated solutions to program concerns.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated Project Management experience
Experience with problem solving
Experience metrics and analytics
Experience with Lean or Operations Management
Desired Skills:
Experience with the use of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Experience with DoD Contracting or Negotiating
Ability to handle a highly dynamic environment with competing requirements
Experience with development, production programs, modifications, or depot operations.
Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
Articulate in both oral and written communications
Strong presentation skills and ability to build a relationship with a customer
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
