Early Screening and Intervention (ESI) Resource Counselor – Penobscot Place – $20.72/Hr

Provides assessment and resource coordination to States Attorney Office appointed defendants. Acts as a intermediary between the State Attorneys Office, community services, and court-based social services. Provides preliminary mental health and substance abuse assessments. Assists the State Attorneys Office in identifying defendants for pre- and post-arraignment and linking to appropriate court-based and community services and/or programming.

Mon – Fri, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in social work or closely related field
Bilingual required: Spanish/English
Previous work experience in criminal justice sectors preferred
Valid CT Drivers License, vehicle registration, and insurance
Must pass Department of Justice Security Clearance Requirements
