Sign on Bonus Eligible: $10,000 (2 year commitment)

This full-time, remote position requires occasional on-site work at AGH.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job designs and customizes treatment plans under the direction of the radiation oncologist.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Calculates radiation treatment dose and enters data into the record and verify system. (80%)

Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care. (5%)

Assists the physics staff with duties which may include, but are not limited to, chart checks, research and QA initiatives. (5%)

Performs other duties which may include, but are not limited to, mentoring employees/students and participating in hospital initiatives. (5%)

Maintains electronic medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry and quality assurance. (5%)

Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) — obtained within 2 years

3 years of therapy experience or 1 year of Dosimetry experience

CPR – American Heart Association

Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate

Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Preferred

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technologist or Medical Dosimetry training program

Bachelor’s Degree

Pay Range Minimum:

$44.31

Pay Range Maximum:

$70.01

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
