Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is looking for a Directed Energy (DE) Test Lead to support our customers and their testing programs. In this role, the focus is to provide leadership and support to our test and instrumentation team. This team provides test and evaluation (TandE) planning, logistics, organization, execution, data collection, instrumentation development and deployment support, upgrades and maintenance of existing instrumentation suite, and development of new tools/processes to improve the capabilities of our team in support of the DE TandE mission. Travel will be required.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of DE TandE programs for the US Army.
Lead a diverse team of engineers/scientists/technicians in the design, analysis, planning, and execution of tests for directed energy systems.
Develop and maintain relationships with multiple team members, providing direction and oversight.
Help to develop and execute the test program plan, defining the objectives and methods of verification for each test.
Develop, maintain, and upgrade Directed Energy test instrumentation.
Manage and direct project personnel to ensure contract objectives and performance standards are met.
Identify, acquire, and use company resources to achieve project technical objectives.
Required Skills
Bachelors degree in relevant field
Active Secret Clearance
Required Experience
Minimum of 7 years of Test Director experience.
Experience with engineering tools such as MATLAB, COMSOL Multiphysics.
Experience meeting with customers to define requirements, review progress, review deliverables, and define future milestones.
Recent knowledge of organizational processes, risk management, quality processes and quality management, schedule and cost control, basic contracting law.
Desired Qualifications
Active TS/SCI
Experience with directed energy prototype integration and TandE
Experience managing diverse teams
Experience interviewing, hiring, and training new engineering staff
Clearance
