AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team! We are seeking a Database Development System Engineer, Level 2 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Will lead the design, development, and modification of enterprise-wide systems and applications, applying advanced expertise throughout the software development lifecycle.
This role includes overseeing software updates, testing, debugging, and ensuring that systems meet business needs while providing guidance for future maintenance and improvements. Additionally, the advisor will offer in-depth analysis and reporting on project specifications, activities, and progress to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland
All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
Certifications:
- IAT Level 2
- CompTIA Security+ CE
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
Mission: As a Software Development System Engineer, Level 2, on this government program, you will be providing support for this important government agency.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Fourteen (14) years of relevant experience.
- Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks.
- Responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation.
- Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, installs, and administers database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management.
- Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
- May provide technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment.
- Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problem.
Mandatory Skills
- At least one (1) year of ServiceNow development experience
- Communication Skills

Desired Requirements
- Experience with ServiceNow CAM, RMF, GRC, and/or SecOps modules
- NIST SP 800-53
- Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- ServiceNow Certified Administrator
Education and Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree with a technical focus is required and Fourteen (14) years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD program management or relevant experience.
OR
- High-School Diploma or GED and Nineteen (19) years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD program management or relevant experience.
Travel
- Less than 10% travel may occur.
