Adecco is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a client in Liverpool, NY . This is a temp-to-hire position paying $18-21/hour depending on experience.
We’re seeking a proactive, customer-focused individual to join our Inside Sales team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) . If you’re passionate about problem-solving, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working with both internal teams and customers, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the key contact for customer communication-via phone, email, and occasionally in person.
Support sales, purchasing, and production teams to ensure orders are accurate and on-time.
Monitor and communicate the status of orders throughout the manufacturing process.
Provide quotes, process orders, and arrange shipping in a cost-effective and timely manner.
Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, partnering with internal specialists when needed.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and account activity.
Stay informed on product specs and become a knowledgeable resource on gasket, insulation, and adhesive solutions.
What You Bring:
5+ years of customer service and/or inside sales experience (manufacturing experience strongly preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and database systems.
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized under pressure.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
A positive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
Valid NY driver’s license (required for occasional travel).
Bonus Points If You Have:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
Experience working in a production environment and familiarity with manufacturing workflows.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
