Training Delivery Team Manager
To deliver a high quality training delivery and training support (maintenance) service in line with Company standards and contractual requirements; manages the resource and output for a specific or multi-tasked Training Delivery/Support team, responsible for all first line management tasks and duties; may have functional responsibility for RN staff.
Co-ordinate the management, delivery and assurance, including SQEP maintenance, of the contracted Training Delivery Service and Training Support Service.
Deliver Equipment and principles training as required to meet the training plan.
Ensure that the maintenance of all authority FOAP(T) Training Equipment utilised in the DDS is carried out to enable equipment performance standards to be met and the training programme to be maintained.
Work closely with Training Planning Dept to ensure sufficient equipment is available to meet latest Training Plan.
Liaise with customer to resolve issues that may have an impact on Training Delivery.
Continuously monitor staff performance and customer requirements developing individual plans to ensure there are no single points of failure and continuous improvement is carried out whilst costs are reduced.
Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times for all employees under your direction.
Raising all S2022, ESS14 work orders, OPDEFs and Risk Assessments as required.
Mechanical/electrical practices in a marine and/or military environment
Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing mechanical or electrical equipment
Managing a department to include personnel and outputs.
Maintaining High Pressure Air/Gas.
Diving Equipment or similar Safety to Life Equipment.
To have completed the Defence Train the Trainer course or equivalent.
Qualified academically or vocationally to a minimum of HNC or equivalent in relevant subject matter
Knowledge of how to use Maintenance Management Systems, specifically UMMS
To have completed the relevant components of the DDS 110 – DDS114 maintenance courses.
ECDL or equivalent demonstrable proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
To have completed a manual handling course
