The Operations Analysis, Modeling, & Simulation (OAMS) Directorate performs customer focused mission modeling and simulation activities for all of Raytheon Intelligence & Space. Our teams develop, analyze, and grade flexible integration solutions crossing all product areas (sensors, effectors, command and control, logistics, and operations), developing tools and methods to evaluate campaign, mission, and system level analysis and visualizations based on customer requirements. We are looking for a innovative, creative, and highly motivated Senior Mission Analyst to develop and integrate computer models and simulations that effectively capture system and system of systems effects in complex threat environments. These models will generate virtual and/or analytical solutions to identify technology gaps, demonstrate the operational benefits of new mission concepts (e.g., Manned-Unmanned Teaming) in complex operational scenarios, develop requirements, test systems, and train operators.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Evaluation of end-to-end system needs to discover system interfaces and data connectivity requirements across the kill-chain (e.g., ensuring sensors can “talk to” shooters”)
Modeling of system and mission kill chains (e.g., intercepting a threatening ballistic missile) with tools such as AFSIM, JAAM, STK, OpsTool, Viz, or RCADE
Development of metrics and results products that communicate the chain of events that led to an action
Implementation of algorithms to provide next-generation performance across the entire system of systems

Security Clearance: An active and in-scope DoD US security clearance

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Matlab
Experience with Military Operations Analysis
Experience with Raytheon owned Modeling and Simulation tools (e.g. OpsTool or RCADE) or Government/Industry Modeling and Simulation tools (e.g. AFSIM, OneSAF, ESAMS, Brawler, JAAM, TGx, STK)
Experience with radar (RF), electro optical (EO), and infrared (IR) sensing systems
Experience with Numerical Optimization Techniques, Analysis of Alternatives, or Design of Experiments
Desire to learn.  Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
Must be eligible to obtain access to proprietary programs

Qualifications We Value:

Advanced STEM degree
Ability to balance the diverse needs of an engineering organization within a large corporation with the personal needs of employees and technology development needs
Experience in Systems Engineering & Software Engineering
Experience and knowledge of the DoD and IC Mission Areas (e.g., Space, Air, Land, Technical Collection)
Existing or previous TS/SCI clearance
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with peers, subordinates, customers and senior leadership throughout the company’s organizations
Familiarity with configuration management (GIT, Subversion)
Ability to understand tactics as described by military experts and to represent their employment (verbally, graphically, and in simulations)
Domain knowledge in RF/EOIR sensors. Network Communications, Weapons/Effects (Missiles, Projectiles), Command & Control, and Resource Management
Linux Proficiency


Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
