Pratt & Whitney is looking for a motivated Manufacturing PLM Technical Architect for this REMOTE role.

Key Responsibilities:

Work as a technical architect to deliver and execute global manufacturing PLM requirements in support of world class system availability and performance.
Be the thought leader and own strategy definition with manufacturing requirements built onto our PLM platform.
Partner with engineering PLM discipline team and third-party resources to complete development requirements on the Pratt enterprise Manufacturing PLM environment.
When needed, develop code or complete configurations in alignment with our Pratt PLM DevSecOps processes; help in growing DevSecOps overall for our PLM platform.
Participate in standups, planning sessions, reviews, demos as coordinated by the Project Manager.
Work on integrations between Manufacturing platforms and other enterprise systems (including Engineering PLM, CAD, ERP, MES, machines, other shop-floor technologies) to enable end-to-end data connectivity across the organization.
Consult with Eng/Mfg customers to advise on key Manufacturing PLM product and configuration challenges.
Administer Manufacturing PLM configurations within the environment (Dev, Test, Prod).
Help with deployment of application performance monitoring tools to improve the performance and reliability.
Coach technical team members and project managers to build the overall manufacturing and PLM skillsets.
Participate on PLM Interdisciplinary Program Management Team to provide Manufacturing PLM technical expertise and maintain project continuity and communicate deployment plans. 
Own the P&W Manufacturing PLM roadmap including technologies and industry best practices, in coordination with other architects & SMEs.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related business discipline(s) with 10+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
U.S. Citizen (required due to Government contractual requirements).

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree.
5+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing or PLM developer, engineer, administrator, or functional analyst, including code development for customizations, configuration updates, system administration, architecture design, application integration, product road mapping, authoring of technical specs
5+ years’ experience in a technical role, either hands-on coding or configuration, experience as an engineer, manufacturing engineer, shop-floor expert, or other similar
Ability to design and implement solutions for Teamcenter Manufacturing & Teamcenter Quality
Exceptional communication skills, develop clear, concise, and logically written business communications, deliver recommendations
Proven track record communicating within cross-functional team of technical resources, QA, and engineers
Demonstrated effectiveness working in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment
Ability to build strong relationships to leverage information and insights across key groups
Strong personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
Presentation skills
Self-starter with self-confidence, enthusiasm, and strong customer service orientation.
Previous background as an engineer (mechanical, aerospace, software, industrial, etc) or experience working on the shop floor.
Ability to provide strategic technical PLM leadership and lead by influence the creation of long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) roadmaps in a virtual environment.
Highly skilled at analyzing business process and seeing opportunities for digital solutions.
Experience working in SDLC, Waterfall, or Agile program structures.
Good communication skills, work ethic and a high level of personal integrity and accountability.
Willing to learn new technologies & take on new projects to grow experience
Self-directed and able to learn quickly with a solid ability to drive and deliver results.
Strong analytical skills, demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, examples of effective teamwork, a track record of consistently meeting deadlines and due dates.
Comfortable working with minimal daily supervision and balance priorities
Remain calm and composed under pressure.
